Contoh:
a.) \frac{1}{\sqrt{a}} = \frac{(1)(\sqrt{a})}{(\sqrt{a})(\sqrt{a})} = \frac{\sqrt{a}}{a}
b.) \frac{1}{\sqrt{a}+\sqrt{b}}=\frac{(1)(\sqrt{a}-\sqrt{b})}{(\sqrt{a}+\sqrt{b})(\sqrt{a}-\sqrt{b})}=\frac{\sqrt{a}-\sqrt{b}}{a-b}
Pembahasan:
1.)  \frac{1}{2 \sqrt{3}} =  \frac{(1)(2\sqrt{3})}{(2\sqrt{3})(2\sqrt{3})}=\frac{2\sqrt{3}}{12}=\frac{\sqrt{3}}{6}
2.) \frac{4}{\sqrt80}=\frac{4}{\sqrt(16)(5)}=\frac{4}{4\sqrt{5}}=\frac{1}{\sqrt{5}}=\frac{1(\sqrt{5})}{(\sqrt5)(\sqrt5)} = \frac{\sqrt5}{5}
3.) \sqrt{7}+\frac{\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{3}}=\sqrt{7}+\frac{(\sqrt{2})(\sqrt{3})}{(\sqrt{3})(\sqrt{3})}=\sqrt{7}+\frac{\sqrt{6}}{3}=\frac{3\sqrt{7}+\sqrt{6}}{3}
