Malaysia seekers jet lost an estimated fall in the southern Indian Ocean on Thursday temporarily suspended due to bad weather, an official told Reuters the U.S. Navy.

"(By) the weather forecast in the area will create a severe cold, severe turbulence, and visibility is almost zero," said Lieutenant Commander (Major) Adam Schantz, an officer who served in the U.S. Navy aircraft deploying P8 Poseidon.

"Whoever is out there drawn to the base and all additional sorties from here has been canceled," he said.

Australian Maritime Safety Authority has also ensured that all of today's flight to the search area has been canceled due to bad weather, according to Reuters.
